Mechanics Hall Wedding – Worcester, MA

Being a wedding photographer is a pretty cool gig. You meet cool people, you make cool photographs, you attend cool events, you see cool places and THEN… people thank you for it. Seriously. So its awesome. Obviously. But what’s more awesome is photographing people you already know and love and think are the bees knees. Getting to photograph Jim and Allie’s wedding over Thanksgiving weekend was a total blessing. IT. WAS. THE. COOLEST. We had a super stellar photobooth, which I merely provided the technology for and everyone else made amazing with their ingenuity and hilarious props. The music was, of course, genius. The so-very-talented-musician-Jim sang as Allie walked down the aisle, he sang when she danced with her Dad and I’m certain he was at least mostly responsible for the fabulous play list. The space was gorgeous, with thanks going to Allie and her mom for busting out some serious sewing skills and oodles of good taste. But you know what’s better than words? PICTURES! (LOTS of pictures!)

  2. Wow, Kristy -these are AMAZING! I feel like I know and like this couple, though I never set eyes on them ’til five minutes ago. Solid work.

  3. Lucky you to get to shoot a wedding in that fabulous place! I grew up in Worcester, and lived there while Mechanics Hall was being renovated almost forty years ago! I now live in Denver, and a mutual friend posted a link to your facebook page, and I was totally delighted to see your lovely work!

    1. Thanks Brian 🙂 We used to live in Boston and came out here 5 years ago. I’d never been to Mechanics Hall. It’s gorgeous! Glad you found the photos and enjoyed them.
