When Kebi’s mom contacted me to do some family portraits while they were vacationing in Winter Park this summer I was stoked. But when she told me her idea, to wear red dresses and formal attire in the woods in honor of her late mother’s heart disease, I was touched. I love the personal nature of these photos and that they honor family in a very deep and complex way, but through fun, togetherness and love. Isn’t that what family is about?
